Meet Social Media Manager

Vincent Tran has an Associate in Science with a major emphasis in Business Administration, from the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Business Information Systems, from California State University, Northridge.

During his time at College of the Canyons, Vincent pursued an Accounting Internship where he designed spreadsheets and workbooks in Excel to keep track of 50+ employee salaries and hours for 3 different restaurants. He also maintained and updated financial records using QuickBooks to ensure accurate and organized transactions. As a result, he not only gained practical skills but also solidified his passion for business and his commitment to pursuing a career in the field.

Recently, Vincent served as the lead STEM Instructor for Black Rocket Productions, where he created and executed lessons to guide students through Black Rocket’s STEM project-based learning curriculum. Vincent worked with several classes each with up to 20 students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Vincent’s Role at Finally Family Homes

In September 2022, Vincent started at Finally Family Homes as a Marketing Intern through College of the Canyons’ Employment Center. Vincent learned social media best practices, search engine optimization, and marketing strategies during this internship. He developed and executed a month-long marketing campaign for Finally Family Homes’ Cornhole Fundraiser. Upon completing his Internship in December 2022, Vincent began working part-time for Finally Family Homes as a Social Media Manager.

Vincent is working to promote Finally Family Homes’ message of making a lasting change in the lives of young adults aging out of foster care. He designs, uploads, and posts social media videos to engage our audience, promote our brand, and drive user interaction and interest. Vincent has also taken on the role of website development. He creates, designs, and maintains web pages on Finally Family Homes’ website in order to enhance user experience and provide valuable information about our organization and its mission.

Vincent is a first-generation college student, born and raised in Santa Clarita. Vincent has always aided the community, from volunteering at the Stevenson Ranch Library to raising money at Santa Clarita’s annual Relay for Life. Vincent is excited to continue working with Finally Family Homes to help young adults from the foster care system.
