Meet Executive Director Christina Dronen
Christina Dronen is a mom to 3 kids and the author of several parenting books. She is a retired Systems Analyst & Stand Up Comedian, although her humor has been known to crop up from time to time. She’s also the author behind most of the blog posts here on the website.
Christina helped form Finally Family Homes and leads the way as we continue to work towards meeting the goals of our organization. She worked as a software developer then transitioned into systems analysis. She also has a degree in Spanish and has translated abroad and at home on several occasions.
Christina lives in Santa Clarita with her husband Eric & their kids. She loves getting out on hikes in nature – which Santa Clarita provides! She also enjoys camping, traveling, yoga, and a good sci-fi movie.

Christina's Role at Finally Family Homes
As Founder, Christina led the way in developing the initial vision, strategy, policies, and programming for Finally Family Homes.
As Executive Director, Christina is responsible for managing the day-to-day duties of Finally Family Homes, executing these programs and initiatives under the guidance of the board.
Christina has run the Life Launch program since its inception, bringing in a variety of gifted speakers to share their wisdom and expertise with the youth we serve. During the pandemic, she wore the hat of a delivery driver – bringing gifts, thanksgiving dinners, and birthday treats to youth who have not been able to meet on campus during this time.
