Santa Clarita Valley is on the northeast edge of Los Angeles County. A somewhat newly formed city, Santa Clarita includes the cities of Valencia, Canyon Country, Newhall, and Saugus. Stevenson Ranch and Castaic (properly said “Kastake” not “kastae-ik”) are not technically part of city boundaries but are communities that border and are strongly connected to Santa Clarita. Santa Clarita has its own unique identity among LA County cities. It’s known for the hit Netflix series “The Santa Clarita Diet” which plays fun on many things including the fact that Santa Clarita is home to many who serve in law enforcement and in the fire department. Zombies however are hard to find other than on Fright Nights at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
